This tower was begun in 1762 and finished one year later. It is situated 23 metres above sea level and looks out on the Cap de Barberia and the beaches of Migjorn taking in all the waters between. It was never permanently equipped with artillery pieces but in spite of that, in May 1813, 6 soldiers stationed there, repelled an attack by 40 French sailors and even managed to capture one. view-Torre Es Pi
